Hello friends!
As we start the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, we take time to honour the work, resilience, and leadership of those who continue to make Nova Scotia a safer, more equitable place for women and gender-diverse people. From the Lotus Centre’s anniversary marking over two decades of community strength and support, to global moments like World AIDS Day, Women’s Brain Health Day, the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women, and Human Rights Day, these observances remind us that justice, safety, and dignity are deeply interconnected.
