Hello friends!

As we move into November, we’re reminded of the power of remembrance, reflection, and relationship. This month’s days of awareness — from honouring veterans on Remembrance Day to standing in solidarity during the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence — invite us to pause and reconnect with the values that guide our work: compassion, equity, and care. Whether we’re supporting survivors, uplifting children, or celebrating the strength of women and gender-diverse communities, each action we take strengthens the web of connection that holds us all.
Find out more about these important dates and how to recognize them.

If you’ve ever felt like your organization is spinning its wheels — juggling urgent needs, funding pressures, endless forms, and competing priorities — you’re not alone. Women-serving organizations across Nova Scotia are working in complexity. When we strengthen relationships between staff, boards, funders, sectors, and one another, we unlock the creativity, innovation, and trust that complexity often suppresses.
