October offers many opportunities to celebrate the contributions of women and girls, learn from the histories that have shaped our communities, and reflect on the work that remains to advance equity.
This month, we recognize Women’s History Month and Mi’kmaw History Month, alongside important days that draw attention to Indigenous women, girls and Two-Spirit people, mental health, the rights and leadership of girls, rural women, poverty, and women’s participation in public life.
Throughout October, we invite you to learn, reflect, connect and take action.
